"Clayton's fluent direction establishes an immediate sense of place....which is beautifully captured by cinematographer Doug Koch"
Colette Maude, TIME OUT

"HEART SONGS is a moody vignette set in backwoods Ontario where a passing stranger falls in love. A neat, astringent movie directed by Sue Clayton who makes every image count"
